Waste disposal adapter fitting instructions

Pre-installation preparation of waste disposal adapter

Remove the existing waste flange from the waste disposal by taking off the spring clip and fixing clamps.

Please Note:
You will need to refit the splash guard supplied with your waste disposal unit

Use a half round file to remove the build up of any plating and to enlarge the groove on the outside of the flange. A small ledge needs to be created to hold the waste disposal spring clip in place.

Before being fitted onto the waste disposal adapter, the ends of the spring should overlap to provide a strong enough grip when pulled apart, to hold the waste disposal unit in place.

Fit the Bidbury Adapter onto the waste disposal unit. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to fit the machine to your sink, electrical & plumbing connections.

We recommend the use of a small bead of silicone sealant to seal the waste adapter to your sink.

Care & Maintenance

It is essential that no aggressive / chemical based cleaners are used on this product. We recommend the use only of mild/natural spray cleaners. It is recommended to rinse the waste adapter with clean water and then dry after every use. Failure to do this will affect the surface of the product.
