It’s important to note that watermarks and small lines are a normal part of this natural process, even from initial installation. Unlike lacquered finishes such as chrome or nickel, where such marks might be considered a fault, these variations are essential to the authentic, living finish of Old English Brass.

To preserve and enjoy this luxurious patina, we recommend the following care instructions:

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could strip away the patina.
• Cleaning: Where possible, pat dry after use to avoid hard water spots. Clean the tap with a low-pH liquid soap and warm water, or use a 50/50 solution of water and white wine vinegar. We do not recommend soaking the product in vinegar, as it may damage the finish.
