How to change the aerator on your Bidbury and Co tap

Many taps on the market don’t have a built-in aerator to help smooth the flow of water coming out of the spout. If a tap doesn’t have one, the result can be disappointing to say the least! The water exits the spout in almost a solid block (a bit like the flow from a hose pipe) and, when it hits the sink, the water can splash everywhere. Imagine spending hundreds of pounds on a high quality tap, only to find it does not have an aerator and you get covered in water every time you use it!

Bidbury & Co have not only designed the aerator to be hidden from view, but also designed it in such a way that it can be removed and cleaned out if needed. Unfortunately, around the UK, many households suffer from hard water and, as a result, limescale deposits can build up in the tap. Being able to remove the aerator and clean it out is a perfect and simple solution to resolve this problem.

In the video below, we show just how simple it is to remove the aerator.
