The Old English brass and Polished Brass finish has no clear lacquer over the top of the surface. This results in the brass ageing naturally with use and will mature into a slightly richer brass finish with a unique and individual patina finish. Please be aware that Basket Strainer wastes in particular will mark/patina dramatically due to standing water and cleaning fluids. This is entirely normal and should be considered when purchasing.
